  • Bible : Nonfiction : Textbook | New International Version Bible | | 1 Each
  • Read Galatians 5:22-23:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

Are you ready to make an investment in the Fruit of Patience?
  • Is there a situation you are dealing with right now that has you feeling hard pressed on every side, perplexed, persecuted or struck down?

If 'Yes', describe the circumstances in the space provided.
  • Read 2 Corinthians 4:7-12:

"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you."

Allow this verse to penetrate, then select 'successful'.
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the meaning and application of this verse in your present circumstnaces.

Write down any revelations you receive.
  • Read Hebrews 12:7-11:

"Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it."

In all honesty, how much do you believe that God's current means of discipline will produce in you a "harvest of righteousness and peace"?
  • Go to the 'demo' tab and read Oswald Chambers on dealing with hardship.

Select 'successful' when you are finished.
  • If you can, describe how your current hardship(s) may eventually work to your favor.
  • Is there something you would like to confess before God?

    If so, do it now.
  • Would you like to show God your thanks and adoration?

If so, you can send him a message if you wish.
  • Is there something you would like to ask of God?

    If so, do so now.
  • Based on what you received from his Word, is there a specific action you would like to commit to doing today?

If so, write it down here.
  • Are you willing to choose a person and tell them what action you just committed to doing?

If so, when you are finished with this isoBlog, contact that person and let them know what you are going to do and when you are going to do it.
