  • If you have not already done so, read the story of Gideon in Judges 6-8. Go to your Bible or to the 'docs' tab above.

Select the 'successful' response when you are finished.
  • Read Judges 7: 7:

"The Lord told Gideon, “With these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites."

Select 'successful' when you are finished.
  • God speaks to Gideon and tells him that He will rescue him and that his 300 men will have victory over the Midiante army, totaling over 100,000 warriors.

Despite your current lack of resources, power and influence, how much do believe that God will rescue you from your current plight and deliver into a great and overwhelming victory?
  • Specifically, how have you heard or experienced God's reassurance of your rescue and overwhelming victory?

    Write down your answer.
  • In Judges 7: 9-15, God reassures Gideon again by allowing him to see that He has placed fear into the minds and hearts of the Midiantes.

Despite the improbability, how well can you imagine that God will place fear into the hearts of your enemies?
  • After this reassurance, Gideon is thoroughly convinced that God has given him the victory.

How confident are you that God has given you the victory He has promised?
  • Before he proceeds, Gideon "bowed in worship before the Lord."

Before proceeding to the next isoBlog in this course, take time now to worship and give thanks to the 'Lord of Heaven's Armies' for your forthcoming victory!

You can do so privately or in the space provided.
  • As a reminder, the next isoBlog in this course 'Part 5 "Where's My Parade?"' will appear tomorrow in your Day Plan.
