Summary:

Step 1

Go to the video icon to watch the reaction of animals in a jungle when they see themselves in a mirror for the first time.

Tells us what you thought when you've finished.

Step 2

It was kind of sad that the animals saw their own image as an enemy.

Of course there was no way for them to realize it, but the animals who showed fear or aggression did so based upon a false perception. There was no need to be concerned or to feel threatened by their own reflection.

In the same way, what we perceive about others can be exaggerated based upon our perceptions, on a myth or lack of experience, not fact.

We see ourselves and other people - and others may see us - as a reflection of what's inside of us.

By now we hope you understand that people and situations may not be the way you've come to understand.

Maybe you aren't even the person you were led to believe.

Rate how much you've improved in discerning fact from fiction.
