Summary:

Step 1

What was your one, positive, brave action from yesterday (Day 3)?

Step 2

If you did it - or put your plans into motion in some way - how did it feel to do it? Tell us in the space provided.

If you haven't begun yet, stay with the steps, but give your action more thought and do the one, small, brave thing that lets you know that dreaming has its plus side. Write about it below.

Step 3

Think about some of your dreams.

Was it to be someone famous? Be a hero? Have a particular career? Have a normal family? End poverty? Fight for justice?

These are just some thoughts to get you started. Now it’s your turn.

Describe what you want your life to stand for more than anything else.

Step 4

Something great and meaningful can come your way if you open yourself to the possibilities that matter most to you.

Most successful people have learned they aren't likely to get what they want at the start. In fact, they may have to make many starts.

They tried many things, failed many times, endured many hardships, nearly quit over and over before they found success.

Sir Winston Churchill once said, "Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm."

It was the failures, not the obvious victories, that most successful people say taught them the most.

The secret is to keep trying, stay focused and learn from what you're doing.

What challenges are you confronting?

Step 5

What are you learning from them so far?

Step 6

One of the best things you can do during trying times is to learn when to take a break.

It frees you up to think more clearly later.

Dwelling on potential outcomes or perceived threats is not going to be your friend. There's a time to consider this. But not all the time.

Let's switch mental gears for a moment.

Take a break.

Go to the 'video' icon and listen to 'Unwritten', by Natasha Beddingfield. It's a bit back in the day but a great message.

Let us know what you thought when you've finished.

Step 7

Staying with the mental break theme, go do something nice for yourself today.

What will it be?
