Goal: this task will accomplish the achievement of the goal to dream bigger (Vision4Future).
Next Step - JP published this Cognitive Task at isodoit.com under Societal | Foster Care and Education | Interpersonal and Social Skills
Doers: 4 | Form: Cognitive Task | Phase: | Type: Primary | Level: 1 | Code:
Start: Dec 14, 2019 | When: | Duration: 10 Minute(s)
Steps:
  • Did you create your vision board?

If not, then we get it. You might feel awkward at first, but you may be surprised by how powerful the experience is for you.

If you did the exercise, then you may have experienced something unexpected. As you began to clip words, pictures, phrases, etc. something inside you may have started to rise up with excitement.

If so, it may have been because you were taking that dream out of your head and putting it on paper, so you could see it better.

What did you feel as you chose items to include on your vision board, and what did that do toward your motivation?
    response:
  • Go to the 'demo' tab and check out the cheeky vision board from the Ellen Show.

Tell us what you thought about the clip when you've finished.
    response:
  • We like Ellen's spunk and creativity.

The point is keep it light. Keep it fun. Keep going with it.

At the same time, use it to reinforce a goal that you really want to pursue.

As you may know, it took a few years for Ellen to reach the dream on her vision board, but she did it!

How confident are you about taking your dream and turning it into a reality?
    response:
  • Regarding your dream, what's in your favor at this point? In other words, what do you have going for you right now?
    response:
  • Think about what's in your way right now.

For example, it could be the way you think about yourself.

It could be the way you think others see you, so you avoid trying.

    It could be financial pressures.

What is it for you? What's blocking your vision?
    response:
  • What do you think it will take to overcome the challenge you listed, and when are you going to make the first move to do so?
    response:
  • How are you going to reward yourself for making that move to overcome your present challenges?
