  • Go to the 'demo' tab above and watch a surprise contestant shock the judges and audience on the British version of "Idol".

Let us know what you thought of her voice when you've finished.
  • What was the first thing that jumped in your mind about Susan when you first saw her?
  • What did you think of her courage to sing despite the audience and judges who were mocking her?
  • Consider how the singer clung to her view of her strengths, refused to give into the mocking, and wowed everyone in the process.

It's time to print out the list of negatives from Day 3, tear it up and throw it away.

You can do this by hitting 'Save and Continue' below. Go to 'my journal' above. Find the Day 3 entry and click 'edit'. Day 3 will open up, and you can print out your answers from there.

Will you follow through with this task?
  • Describe how the action made you feel after you've printed out your list, tore it up and threw it away.
  • Notice that you still have that entry in 'my journal'. You can visit it any time you want to remind you of your "positives".

Your positive qualities are the “opposite” of what you were told earlier in life. They can become the basis for your future goals.

We believe your positive qualities are linked to your life's destiny, which is based on your authentic (real) self.

Remember: You OWN the rights to these positives. We're going to show you how to fight to hang on to them.

First, do you agree with the statement that these positives are the basis for your real self?
  • Why or why not?
